[Cisl-comunidade] Linux solidifies its marketability due to the increased Linux adoption by enterprise businesses

"83 percent of enterprise companies already have Linux deployed on their servers and more than half of the responders included in the survey, which do not have currently Linux as part of their business operations, are prepared to incorporate Linux into their business model within upcoming 12 months.


One of the biggest advantages seen by companies considering to include Linux into their business is vendor independence and reduction of total cost of ownership. 

On the other hand, adoption of Linux by enterprise businesses is slowed down by lack of skilled work force, which was already pointed out by Linux Foundation in their 2013 Linux Jobs Report."

É BEM interessante analisar os números de que tipo de aplicações, e quais os critérios da escolha para missão crítica no relatório completo. Há também as principais preocupações.
