Palestra Técnica do CISL - A Internet está quebrada

Resumo:

Esta apresentação abordará as diversas maneiras em que as tecnologias atuais da Internet 

não atendem às nossas necessidades de privacidade e anonimato, além de 
algumas formas de combater esses problemas. Discutiremos tudo, desde o 
layout de cabos e infra-estrutura física, até os problemas com os 
sistemas na camada de aplicação. Podemos também passar algum tempo 
discutindo o porquê medidas de legislação e políticas são necessárias 
para complementar as soluções técnicas.


Palestrante: Ola Bini

Minicurrículo:

Ola Bini works with security and privacy for ThoughtWorks in Quito, 
Ecuador. He is one of the JRuby core developers and have been involved 
in JRuby development since 2006. At one point in time, Ola got tired of 
all existing programming languages and decided to create his own, called
 Ioke. Then he did it again, and started work on Seph. He has written a 
book called Practical JRuby on Rails Projects for APress, and coauthered
 Using JRuby for the Pragmatic Programmers, talked at numerous 
conferences, and contributed to a large amount of open source projects. 
He is also a member of the JSR292 Expert Group.


His main passion lies in digital sovereignty, implementing languages, 
working on regular expression engines and trying to figure out how to 
create good YAML parsers. He spent a year digging into molecular 
biology, genomics and cancer. This year he is focusing on Internet 
privacy and anonymity.
