Read the rant carefully and you will notice that this is not any kind of
"open doors" free software. They are just trying to start communicating
with the outside world.

By the way, we had this kind of "weekly hangout" here, but it has been
abandoned in practice.

Any kind of open source project without a committee is prone to this
kind of thing.

Let's see what can we learn and apply from this experience.
