I think that the visualization is not very clear.. :-/

I created an event that started on January 19 and the end_date is February 25. There's a "+37 days" and a "9 days past". 

It's not easy to understand that this "+37 days" is the duration of event. Also, the info "9 days past" could be about the start or the end of the event. It's confusing..
