# Release Notes

This release contains a few bugfixes, including:

• fixed escaping of arbitrary HTML in profiles' custom headers and footers
• fixed the generation of links on sites served over HTTPS. No links will
point back to the HTTP site.
• improvements to the provided sample pound (HTTPS reverse proxy)
  configuration
• reverted a change that made Noosfero hardcode the local timezone in dates
on the database, making it impossible to convert them correctly to
different timezones (this feature is not implemented yet though).

It's recommended that everyone upgrade as soon as possible. If you are
upgrading from 0.47.x, you can safely upgrade directly to 1.0.2 (i.e. you don't
need to upgrade to 1.0 first).
