I couldn't reproduce this either using master, so it is probably a plugin (maybe solr which does some patching on scopes). Will investigate it later.

Anyway, @terceiro this also cleans some duplicate code that is already implemented on `FolderHelper`, so IMO it is good to merge, since it don't break tests too.
