New release with repo mirroring, award emoji, and more
This month's GitLab release was packed full of features like award emoji,
repository mirroring, and more. With GitLab 8.2, we've made it much easier
to release versioned software with releases and global milestones. On top

Feature Highlight
Customize GitLab behavior with user preferences
Users requested a few customizations to help the GitLab UI better fit their
daily use. Among these new user preferences are the ability to choose
between a fluid or fixed width layout and the option to choose activity as
the default dashboard instead of the project list.
