Is this a wise thing to do? You are kind of modifying the basic principle of this feature, even if just for one type of user. What if an admin simply want to _invite_ a friend, as the name of the feature suggests? In my opinion your change should either include a checkbox to turn it on or off, or be a new feature entirely.
