[Openfire-br] Leitura de mensagens com php por data

Boa noite/tarde

Alguem sabe como criar um script que leia o arquivo de mensagens por dada de dois usuários.
Sei retirar todo o histórico mas a data está codificada, alguém sabe como obter com a data descodificada e se possivel saber se as mensagens já foram lidas ou não?
