Tem um quesito de windows aí, mas telecom com OSS e BSS é
majoritariamente Linux.  Em alguns casos Unix.

I have a new search in Brazil for a Pre Sales Engineer to support the
MSO, telecommunication vertical in the region. Client has a great foot
print in region with a great reputation. They provide OSS and BSS
solutions to improve Communications Service Providers' Customer
Experience and help achieve Operational Excellence. Please see the

Base $100k with bonus

REQUIREMENTS / BACKGROUND

The successful candidate for this exciting opportunity will need to be
willing to travel to customer sites more than 50% of the time, and will
have a strong customer orientation, as well as highly motivated and
flexible with an attention to detail. The PSE will need to maintain a
do-what-it takes attitude, have high energy and competitive attitude,
demonstrate strong communication skills and have ability to work as a
member of a team to achieve the team goals, together with personal
attributes geared towards building strong working relationships with
internal & external customers. The candidate will possess all of the
above requirements, plus the following skills & experience, together
with personal attributes, as described below.

EDUCATION:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science / Electronics, or equivalent
experience and thorough knowledge of Telecomm system architecture.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years as Pre-sales Engineer in the MSO industry, Telco and/or ISP
industry.

• Successfully Demonstrable experience and track record of preparing
pricing and RFP responses is desired.

• Have 3+ years of technical software sales, pre-sales, or technical
support experience.

• Certifications or Advanced technical knowledge of UNIX, Linux or
Windows based server

Operating Systems.

SKILLS:

• High-energy individual with strong technical communication and
presentation skills

• Results-driven, self-motivated, creative individuals who can
generate and evaluate ideas

• Ability to work independently and prioritize numerous projects
effectively

• Ability to work remotely (from home, hotels, airports, etc.)

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and
Spanish.

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical ability, influencing skills, problem
solving/decision making skills

• Ability to present concept at all levels and gain consensus

• Outstanding customer relationship and presentation skills including
the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts visually
and orally

• Must have an outgoing desire to stay current with software market
and latest technologies

• Must be a self starter with the initiative to work from a remote
office in the field
