I agree with your point @ewout, but there might be interest on using CDN as they speed up page load and uses more caching. Maybe, if possible, an option could be implemented to choose where the CDN should be used for each javascript. In this case (jquery-ui themes), the CDN standard is very annoying cause it is hard to use non standard themes like jquery ui bootstrap, even though the option (maybe in config/noosfero.yml) may help the sysadmin and developers with the best choice.
