please review commit d9c3be28 and pay attention to the commit message; any links generated during a request should already come with https:// **provided the web server configuration is correct** (maybe we are missing something in the instructions at `INSTALL.https.md`?); links generated outside of a request will still come with http but that can be easily fixed.
