noosfero | Migrating database from old version fails (#374)

You shouldnt update to Stretch because the default ruby version for Stretch(2.3.3) is greater than the one supported by Noosfero(2.1.5). Your problem might have been messed data in volumes. Since its solved, I'm closing this for now :smile:
